Holiday Mode for Tester Accounts

A very useful feature would be a ‘holiday mode’ for tester accounts. Imagine a tester who has a full-time job or studies and can only dedicate time to testing during specific periods, such as summer or winter breaks. At the moment, this tester continues to receive test invitations even when unavailable, which leads to wasted opportunities and reduced efficiency for the platform.
With a holiday mode, the tester could simply mark the account as inactive during those busy months. While the holiday mode is on, no invitations would be sent. Once the tester is free again, they could disable holiday mode and immediately start receiving invitations.
This would ensure that only active testers receive tests, improving participation rates, saving resources, and making the experience fairer for everyone.

Hello, and thank you for your suggestion and for your interest in improving our platform.
Please note that a similar mechanism is already in place:
1️⃣ Notification Control – You can disable notifications yourself at any time to avoid being disturbed by invitations.
2️⃣ Inactivity Handling – After 14 days of inactivity, the system automatically marks a tester’s account as inactive. In this case, the tester receives an email notification, and their account is inactive and this account is excluded from future invitations. Once the tester logs back into the platform, their account is reactivated and invitations resume.
Therefore, if you do not wish to receive invites for an extended period, simply turn off notifications and refrain from logging into the platform until you are ready to return.
Please let us know if this is suitable for you and if it meets your needs.
